Facepunch still not doing shit nor replying to the threads.... This is why they remain a small game developing company forever...
Sad but true... with this attitude Facepunch's level will remain like this only... a small company with cheap games... nothing more... where as Developers of PubG etc are doing so good... They have 10x more players online always....

While I do agree it's poor business to completely neglect your player base, it's unfair to compare Rust to PUBG. Not to mention PUBG does everything that Rust does wrong too..
I feel the service us "users" are currently getting is terrible but I'm sure FacePunch are working hard on maintaining their business and they wouldn't let a large portion of their community down. No users see what they have to go through to get everything working so just a little more time won't hurt.
All business and game developers make mistakes but fixing a mistake it's as simple as it's said.

I can't reply to this, I have no idea and I understand - it annoys me too! But overall complaining about it doesn't change the matter sadly...
