As far as I am aware, the character you are given is to stay until a character change like when the Female gender was released. You could purchase a new account but Im sure it's not worth the money just to become "black".
You could always email FacePunch but I'm sure they wouldn't change your gender or character because if they did it once for someone many would ask.
Do people still get triggered over their character?
