So, I made a model of a manual light in a blender and UV did as it should, but I had 2 objects: a candle and the light itself and UV I did for them separately and then merged into one object made a bone (because in what that the Tutoral was saying that I have to do at least idle animation) then I exported it using blender source tools and then compiled the model into crowbar tools and decided to look at it and saw that it had no texture.
I checked the smd in the blender, it turned out there is also no texture / material.
The question is what do I do with the texture \ material to do?
PS: If not this topic sorry, did not find anything like modeling.
Uhm. I could have sworn there used to be a GMOD modelling section. Anyways, I don't have a lot of experience with blender and this UV stuff, but this could benefit from a bump, and I have a chip to throw in.
Two VTF files (You can't use bitmaps, png and what not. See VTFEdit. And hey, are there any other programs beside VTFEdit? I use that too much. Gives me weird feelings.)
Two bodies, candle and light (I don't think you actually can do lighting effects in SMD but hey I'd be surprised)
candle.vtf
light.vtf
candle has texture candle.vtf
light has texture light.vtf
(vtf also needs matching vmt file)
That's at least two textures.
I don't get what you are trying to say in your post OP, but that's how you use 2+ textures in one model.
