I setup a dedicated server using SteamCMD. The server is running fine and listening on port 27015. I can connect to it via my local (static) IP. I have port forwarded 27015 on TCP and UDP, but I cannot connect to my server using my public IP. Additionally, sites such as canyouseeme.org say that 27015 is closed. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
What router (or switch) do you use? Also, Make sure the server is bound to your public IP (+ip (yourip)
I use a Virgin SuperHub 1 connected to my PC via a TP-Link ethernet mains adaptor. Additionally when I added the +ip parameter, attempting to connect returned this:
Network: IP [INTERNAL IP], mode MP, dedicated No, ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL
Connecting to [MY PUBLIC IP]
Retrying [MY PUBLIC IP]
Retrying [MY PUBLIC IP]
Retrying [MY PUBLIC IP]
Bump. I am having problems with same router
Could it be a problem with the gmod client ports overlapping?
