Massive stutter on rust when in full screen border less

For some reason, I seem to give really bad stutter when in full screen border less, but when I'm in full screen windowed or windowed at 1280x720 (which is the one i can actually run with consistent fps so i cant use full screen bordered) it doesn't seem to lag for me which i don't understand. It doesn't lag in other games when i'm in full screen mode as long as i have VSYNC on but i enable it in the NVIDIA panel and nothing seems to happen, anyone know any fixes? Playing windowed 1280x720 puts me at a massive disadvantage and I get better FPS on full screen mode its just the stutter which is the issue.
(P.S buy a new computer wont do because i don't have a pot of 1000 pound sitting around :_) )

I can't help you i was having the same problem but there are 2 options:
reinstall your PC and don't install discord or geforce expierience app
play on the best resolution and on the rust task bar (the place where you can minimalize it etc.) press the window icon and you should be good
