Thread notifications not working as expected

In the Developer Discussion today, a thread got a new post.

I am subscribed to this thread.

But I do not get any notification of any updates.

Why do I only get notifications when a thread is created? How do I get notifications for new posts?

You're only subscribed to the subforum, not every thread inside it, it's working as intended.
If you want to be notified of every post in there you'll have to subscribe to each thread manually

ok, thanks for the information. I just wish there was a way to automatically subscribe to each thread.

According to the Roadmap, that feature is already implemented.

Actually it would also makes sense for the subforum subscription to notify "x threads with new posts" on top of every new thread.
