I recently had some players try very hard to get into my base without explosives. The whole thing was unsuccessful but kept me occupied for about an hour with weird shenanigans.
It occurred to me after the last one finally got bored and left that there's probably a lot of funny stories out there, so I made a thread for them.
In my case the would be raiders :
Engaged me in a stare down for half an hour while I watched them with binoculars.
Flamed their way into the back yard with cries of "Oh yeah!" only to find just an empty furnace there.
Yelled "let us in!" In childlike voices on and off for about ten minutes.
Attempted to lure me into opening my door by leaving items just outside of it.
Climbed onto the totally sealed roof with a ladder to check for a mysterious non existent hole.
Rapidly pressed buttons on a code locked door for five minutes straight.
Asked nicely to be let in.
Shot at the bullet proof glass windows to no effect.
Whispered "sexy" through voice chat in a suggestive manner.
Knocked on the back door begging for a drink of water.
Please post if you have a funny raid story (defending or attacking). They will probably make a more or less entertaining read.
I once logged off and woke up to my base gone.
Actually, more than once. Many times.
