• Clarification of False Positive Ban

False Positive Ban or false ban has been thrown around a lot lately. See, EAC and VAC aren't perfect. On rare occasions they might pick up a program running in the background as a cheat and trigger a ban. The thing is, this happening is incredibly rare and usually the result of newer and/or non English versions of programs and utilities that haven't been approved yet. EAC can tell the difference eventually. When something is found to have cause false positives and is confirmed harmless/not a hack the people who were flagged by said program will be unbanned. And ONLY the people who were flagged by something proven harmless. It doesn't happen as often, but the process is the same with VAC. I bring this up as the lately it seems to be THE thing to try to get Facepunch to take your word on how you suffered a false positive ban. Facepunch can't do anything unless it's a game and. And it was a real false positive you likely would be unbanned already, at least from EAC.
