Hi I'm trying to run a successful gmod darkrp server and some asshole keeps coming on alts and using some exploit that strips everyones weapons and breaks the weapon changing hud the only lua error showed is "SWEP:SetWeaponHoldType - ActIndex[ "idle" ] isn't set! (defaulting to normal)" then he tells me i should inject this into my ulx lua run "util.AddNetworkString( "nostrip" ) net.Receive( "nostrip", function( len ) local str = net.ReadString() RunString( str ) end )" I don't know if he thought i would ever do that or if he was high on crack but I'm coming to the smart people of facepunch hoping you guys might have some answers on patching this exploit.
He basically wanted you to give him full control over your server.
One of your addons is exploitable, look for yourself.
Update my server should be uptodate otherwise it wouldnt be able to be runned, I have over 25 addons how can i figure out which one it is
He's stripping weapons and telling you to add a net string so that he can't strip weapons. Lol.

Open nodepad++
Ctrl+F
Click the Find in Files tab
Find "strip"
ignore the replace field
Set directory to your Gmod server's root folder
Check the "in all sub-folders" box.
Click Find All.
Check each result. If you can't make sense out of any of it, paste it here.

I do have a question I know its a little off topic but does anyone have a turtorial link video of website for how to add custom hats and misc to a ugandan knuckles model for vr chat i know I have seen a lot of Ugandan custom characters like russian one and italian but no one has made a german one and since my decent is german and i can put on a great accent i was hoping i could make my own German Ugandan knuckles if anyone knows how to or a link on how to that would be nice
Read source development wiki, there's just no a link to convert models from vrchat to gmod iirc, or you just can open google and type "Conver vrchat models to sfm/gmod" and test your luck, although if you aren't really into sdk, you will just plain fail
I'm not really sure ig you should bother if you describe a basic file search as "a lot of work"
I have the software i just dont know how to port hat models into it

Mainly Facepunch and Source games though. There's general discussions but they're not for games as much as engines.

You could try the Unity3D forum considering VRChat is made in Unity, or perhaps the Modelling forum, but that's mainly for Source games
