It seems like every clan, every trio or every group has atleast one user that uses recoil scripts to enhance their aim.
I've seen players spray an entire mag of an AK into a spot the size of maybe 2-3 shots of spread regularly, many even brag about how they can't be banned for their scripts.
Recoil scripting is nowhere as bad as it used to be, but it is still a major problem that could result in a significant amount of new players struggling with PVP, not because they are being outskilled, but because their opponents are flat out cheating.

I feel like it'd be harder if guns caused kickback in various directions, not asinine bullshit "spray patterns" a la csgo. Genuinely one of the worst Rust updates that come to mind. Absolutely abysmal. I run into a lot of people using some kind of bullshit with the Python, though. I don't hackusate often, but there are way too many python gods out there.

won't be harder. The most simple of image recognition software can calculate the recoil after every shot and compensate it in under 2 frames. Recoil needs to go.
