I've done all the common solutions nothing worked. I've worked on this issue for last 10hrs and this is what I got but it works but its shitty.
First get your friend to log onto your steam account and join the server you want to play/died on. When he loads in get him to spawn and run around for 5 sec. After he logs off you login but try your best not to die. IF you die you have to repeat this whole process. It sucks but you can play until facepunch fixes it.
P.S. They have already addressed it and trying to fix.
