Unfair EAC Rust Ban - Rust - Facepunch Forum

Ok so 5 days ago I posted this on EAC talks: Hey there Fetch and EAC, steamname: Nobody steam3ID: [U:1:231318930] steamID32: STEAM_0:0:115659465 steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198191584658 customURL: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Snaiparul So,this is a post that i was never expect to make it. When I got back from high school a day ago, I woke up with the following message on my account: "You have been banned in Rust by the game's developers" Now, I'm guessing given the wording of that ban, it means that I've been banned for something other than cheating? Because I have never, ever, on any account, cheated in Rust. So I'm very confused. I know all too well the classic thing for cheaters to do is to proclaim their innocence, but I'm genuine here.I am not a Rust cheater. Please advise, and let's talk fetch. Because yeah this is quite distressing to me. Thanks a lot Then after about 5 hours I received a response from them that sounded the following: ''You were banned for cheating.'' The problem is that I have not ever cheated in Rust. I only own this account, I've had it for 2+ years, I've bought 146 games on it, level 61, etc. Why would I want to lose all this money? I don't cheat, and never have. I have a YouTube channel that I posted over 100 clips with rust, you can see there that I did not play with hack. I ask those who read this post to express their opinion about this situation and to tell me if there is a chance to reclaim my right to play. Thanks for your time!

I mean, nobody gets banned without any reason. So, enjoy your ban!

Did you happen to gift anyone Rust? If you gifted Rust to someone and they got banned that may be why you were banned. Its a measure that was put into effect a few years ago to combat people who would buy Rust for cheap and gift it to alt accounts to run cheats with. I don't know your full story and am as suspicious as anyone else by the way. I am just stating a possibility as to your situation. And if it is the cause, you likely aren't getting unbanned.

They don't ban people often! Its actually hard to get someone banned... If you were banned by a Dev you must have been doing something bad! Also your user name alone just screams I am a hacker This user has also played as: Nobody ---------- --------- -------- ------- ------ ----- ---- --- --

Rip. Good job FP. Make prime examples of people who thought they flew under the radar and show them that once they hack or cheat in rust, they wont ever play it again. Well possibly but after a sh*t ton of hassle. Keep up the good work devs
