[FIX] Game/Steam crashing when you get killed or gift a bag

Hey guys!
We've nailed down the cause for the crashes on death.
Check to see if you're magically opted into a Steam Client Beta Client.
Steam Settings >> Account >> Beta Participation

Opt out if you are, let me know but that should take care of it.
If you're NOT opted in try a reinstall of your steam client.

I'm still crashing after getting killed.
-not in beta
-clean install of windows 10, steam and rust

weird, full Steam App reinstall fixed it for me... did you do a reboot after Steam uninstall just to make sure?

Seems like this is still happening to many, just reminding people to restart your computer, or at minimum, your Steam client after you apply any changes.
