I think EAC needs something done quick because I see there is ALOT of people having trouble with this, including me. From what I've seen online there is legit no one that knows how to fix it.
Well this thread is useless. Post logs and screenshots and explain more, I want to know what is going on there.
Ok I'll post screenshots when I come home but legit the only thing that happens when launching rust is that the loader stops and then it turns red displaying the message Patched windows boot loader detected [1].... If I launch the rustclient from the folder it actually starts up but cannot connect to servers
Patched windows boot loader detected means that you have used a program that changes your windows boot loader. It might be a stupid program like a backup/restore app that helps you with duel boot or something or it can just be you using an illegal windows that is patched in a stupid way.
But anyho, the best way for you to go will be to restore the original windows boot loader.
in CMD type this command first:
bootrec /fixmbr
And then this one:
bootrec /fixboot
Restart your computer and let me know if it worked.
CMD did not recognize any of the commands :/
