• New AK recoil change

What do you guys think about the new change? I don't like it personally. Spraying with the AK seems worse after they increased the horizional pattern of it. Few days ago before updates I could spray people and get double headshots. Now, mostly gets hits and a headshot not many double headshots. Maybe it's just me, idk. What do you guys think? I've been playing battlefield servers practicing the recoil before the update which I really liked the ak then, but now, it seems the recoil is horrible and I can't control it as well.
That was the whole point, Seems to have worked by your post. To combat the spray and pray just by dragging downward while spraying. Your shot will be precise if you tap fire. I know this game isn't very realistic BUT, spray an ak irl and you wouldn't hit a single thing. Skill has been added back, PERFECTION
Have you ever tried spraying with a real AK? Bloody kids coming from old counterstrike, aimcone was both more realistic and fair, but nooo, kids wanna "learn the pattern" so they can play easymode. Little did the know that with hard recoilpatterns, you opened up the doors for no-recoil scripts, and made life easier for aimbotters. I still cant believe Helk fell for their pressure.
This. You can't spray with an assault rifle in real life. AK's are accurate rifles when used properly, but they're not something you can "spray."
Meh, I guess so. People out there will you probably master this as best as they can and will be able to spray and hit most shots. They'd just have to adjust to it. As for scripting, I'm sure you could program a auto hot key script to repeat the pattern using mouse events. No, I haven't used an ak IRL but I don't know if either of you have. I'll agree though. Makes sense. I just miss my double headshots! 😢 And I'll miss saying "Double headshot, yer dead!" 💀
You people are arguing semantics. In real life, there's no "Aim pattern", but in the end, Rust is a VIDEO GAME. They can design their weapons however they want to. Also, to your argument of "lol u cant spray ak irl", that isn't actually very true. As an avid /k/ goer, the modern-day model of any gun is pretty reliable in terms of shooting. Want to know a SHOCKER? Fully automatic weapons were made... TO BE SPRAYED! Wow! Shock! Amazing! There are differences, of course, such as more controlled firing mechanisms, but you should be shocked to learn that holding down the trigger doesn't cause the bullets to magically warp into a fourth dimension, beyond the human eye as if it was a hose with nobody holding it. Arguments can be made because the rifle in Rust is something made on-site by a (non-expert?), but still, that's not an argument. Don't bring "Realism" into something when you have literally no idea what you're talking about. Guns don't follow magical patterns, but that doesn't matter. This is a video game. Realism is not the issue. I see no problem with the current system, but I also saw no problem with the old system. "ScavvyMclootface" is pretty accurate in what he said. Learning a pattern is akin to a damaged child figuring out the triangle block goes into the triangle hole. That's not skill, that's PATTERN recognition, something even base-intelligence animals can do. Again, I don't really care how they design their weapons to fire, its their choice and their game, but you look like a fucking idiot trying to argue "realism" into something when you're a 16-year-old playing a video game.
Lol agreed I think it's harder to learn the pattern but possible.
