• Rust update slaughtering my fps... :c

So the new update hits, super happy and all that but then i log in to play... 10 fucking fps and i cant do shit, no matter what i try im constantly at 10 to 20 fps which is basically unplayable (not in a "this is disgusting" kind of way but its literally impossible to aim) i have noticed a pattern where the fps is good when i either: respawn, just log in, tab in/out quickly or open areas. I guess its got something to do with the new trees and the other plants and rocks but ive got no idea. My computer is able to run bf 1 at around 50+ fps so i dont really get why this should be such a problem but yeah im a computer normie. Here is the specs i thought was important: Intel® Core™ i7 6700HQ processor Intel® HD Graphic 530 DDR4 2133 MHz SDRAM, 2 x SO-DIMM platser för utbyggnad upp till 16 G SDRAM  NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M med 2G/4G GDDR5 VRAM
This update made Rust unplayable for me. All four cores of my i5-4670K overheat to 100 Celsius within minutes of playing. I have a GTX 760 OC and my setup worked fine before this release, with very decent FPS. While I did not lose any FPS with this update, my CPU now overheats every time Rust is running.
You may want to check the new min requirements they updated on steam to be able to run Rust. Your builds may be behind.
100c is wayy too much to be getting ,if rust heats your cpu to 100c every other cpu heavy load will do the same , check your cooling system , try changing the theral compound make sure your fan is clean and actually working properly.
