Skins arnt in my ingame inventory but they are in my steam inventory - Help

for the past 3 weeks or so the new weekly skins ive bought dont even show up in game i can only craft the default weapons the skins that i bought before the 3 weeks work fine but the new ones dont skins.warmup is set to 1 and ive made sure im subsribed to every skin and also re-installed rust nothing works hellppppp

Have you read the other thread "How I got my skins to work and fixed the problem". One way is using Rust's Workshop. With Rust open and at the menu, click on RUST (up the top) and look bottom right for "Workshop". Once open select "Accepted", which shows all the skins in the game including the ones you've bought. Browse through each page, you need to scroll down to see all the skins on each page (click on the middle black area if scroll wheel doesn't respond at first). When you find a skin you have, look for a green dot top right of the image, if there isn't one click on it to load up the workshop. Then exit out of the person on wood foundation to keep browsing the skins. This is the slow way, but it works. The other is find a modded server like The Hangout and use the /skin commands to load in all the skins - it takes a while, there are a lot of them.

By the way, you say you can't craft them ... when you go to craft do you see 2 or more of them? If so just click on any of them except the left most. It'll very likely load in over time. Another check is using a repair bench to reskin items. You'll see the blue arrows showing that it hasn't got to loading in those skins. Just click on one of them and the skins that have loaded in will show.

no i mean they literally arnt there there is only the default semi only one even tho i have 2 skins for it, the problem is not them not loading in its that they arnt there what so ever

Ok, since the update this morning thats happening with a number of items for me too. In some cases you just see vanilla, no blue arrows and doesn't give a shit what you click the outcome is vanilla. And other cases like bandana, it'll show its crafting a chosen skin but the out come is vanilla red. More problems when trying to skin with repair bench. This is worse than before. ::sigh::

Yep agreed, at least before I could fix it by force loading them myself. Now I can't even reskin it at a table for over half of my items. Really disappointing.

you still dont understand my problem the skins simply arnt in game, for exmaple i have 2 sar skins but in a skining bench or crafting there is only on option not 3 and that one option is for the default one

Oh crap. I experienced just that on staging yesterday. No problems today. Goddam mate. The only thing I can think of is when I removed the skins folder from my client to run the game faster. I decided I liked having skins in my life and hit the undo button. Done anything like that lately? As for my issues, a commit just came out fixing it. Thank you Facepunch.
