I was banned for VAC, but never used any kind of hack in any game and don't have any hack program ... Just don't know why I was banned ... Just trying to understand it !!! VERY UPSET

Yes , Rust is using EAC ( Easy Anti Cheat software ) and you can get Game banned not VAC ( Valve Anti Cheat ). For that you need to contact Valve. Either way I don't think they will give you the details behind your ban because that can be used by cheaters to counter the VAC anti-cheat.
If you want you can ban appeal to Valve. Beside that the recommended procedure in this case is to format your drives and fresh install the operating system ... and make new account and buy new games.
Anti recoil ban waves
Giving fair warning a couple days ago via the Rust twitter, Facepunch announced they would start banning for anti recoil scripts. Sure enough, we’ve seen a slew of new bans hit @RustHackReport over the last several days, including numerous accounts with thousands of hours. Good riddance!

rust doesnt even use VAC that is through valve, rust is using EAC (easy anti cheat) and you get game banned not VAC banned. If you want go on the steam community forum and follow the scanning process to clear your computer and detect any VAC errors

Don't make him waste money on buying the game again. How much I like Rust getting double money from players who got caught with cheats, bans are mac IP bounded, or hardware bounded in non-IT terms.
This means when your pc you got banned on tries to connect with another steam account but with the same hardware, you get instantly banned again.
so that means, he need's to do more then to sell lemonade, mabe sell his xbox and iphone X to afford a new pc and a copy of Rust. Feelsbadman
