This is just a heads up, I think the linux rust client updated a little early. I can't play any officials, the error is something about protocol of server needs updating. I guess I use my time to get stuff done around the house, and be ready for tomorrow. :-)
Anyone know if the blueprints wipe tomorrow? I kind of want to change servers.
yes blueprints are wiping tommorow as it is a forced wipe (first thursday of every month). Also it may be that the sever needs a restart because it hasnt synced with the updates
According to rustafied.com they are not wiping blueprints, so I assumed it also might apply to the official of the official servers list as well.
I fixed my issue, some setting in steam client I needed to opt out of. oops
blueprints gets only wiped forced by facepunch, or more often if the server owner decides to!
This because with implementing bp's, the wanted to give long-term progression, but most of all, they try to prevent players going insane for 1-2 weeks on 1 server, and because they got "bored" because they have everything and won't raid and fight with what they got, and they switch servers.
Rust does not want players going from one to another server just because they play the game in a way they got bored of it, and causing servers to die fast.
