The TC is one wall away both from up and from the side. If the enemy scouts a bit by sound, he can determine the room where there is either a large box (loot) or a TC.
Also, I'm not sure you could place that research table if the base were built under pressure, with the floor already in place.
its not meant to be taken literately its just putting some concepts together, i havent started recording bases I would actually live in (honeycombing them and all that)

mate, you may as well have posted a 1x1 then. no disrespect intended but A good video that would get likes is showing the core + some ways to expand it to a practical base.
Its a lot of resource for a core only mate, and to be fair for that much resource in an expanded base Id expect it to cost more to raid than adding a level or two to that will offer.

They would not use satchels on the door so a waste of time to put an armoured door on a stone building, you just blow the walls away, I am not sure what concept this is meant to convey but I think it got "lost in translation"
