spoke to devs, they told me to tell you to ead and they dont care that they have killed rust
"CHOMMY," is this your best 'educated' response? "ead?" What is this? Do you mean, "eat SHIT and die?" Wouldn't that then be "ESAD?" (By the way acronyms are always in capital letters.) Are you an angry 12 year old Australian Mind Crafter who's mad at the world?
Firstly, construct something coherent child, then present your argument. Not only does FacePunch studios NOT speak with children, (also making you a liar), didn't your mother ever teach you, "If you have nothing constructive to say, don't say anything at all?" The game isn't terrible, or broken, or unplayable. I was reiterating inaccuracies by other fellow (mature) players who were trying to convey them to the duteous development team.
After you get your dictionary out looking up half these words boy, I want you to consider the things you say to other people; especially online. You made yourself out to be a complete and utter moron. Read a book. Be somebody. Grow a pair.
I don't understand how people who think that ALL players are a little bit nasty. More than 35,000 people play the game every day. And just because 1,000 people cry doesn't mean that the developers have destroyed the game, but only that 1,000 people don't like the game. And frankly, if I were the developer, you'd get by my ass.
And I strongly assume that @garry thinks the same way ;)
Im not sure if you're even replying to this thread or to any of the posters above, as it doesn't seem to address any of the posts here...
On topic: Very interesting idea. Although I suppose scrap costs might have to be adjusted somehow (10 scrap for a revolver is too much, but I get that it was just an example and where you're going with this).
4-5 scrap per revolver seems decent to be honest, especially after they buffed scrap drops to 2 per barrel and 3 per small box (5 large box, as it was).
And scientists drop scrap too...which means there is just an "overall" scrap influx in the game at the moment...
Shh back to the centrelink que lad your welfare check awaits you
Its fairly close to a good balance already. I don't think alot needs to be changed
Never had Welfare, I've made six figures on my education for last six years kid. Get a life.
I like this idea, it's simple and subtle and doesn't drastically change the game while closing the gap between large groups and solo players.
I wonder, could those costs be implemented on a community server?
To me the reasoning sounds like it may be plausible but never had a server but perhaps someone else would give it a spin? If so, post the server name...
Hey Vrnomoud,
It's an okay idea and perhaps it might work if implemented; but again, nothing will stop the groups power and force. It will merely add menial time to their equation. I would prefer to keep the mechanics the same for everyone and as you have said, the game is not fair and I don't think it's meant to be.
I would like to see more ingenuity in regards to building mechanics, trap managements, electricity, IFTTT kind of triggers around ones base... Basically, if you're a solo player willing to put in some time, effort, stress and make your base a nightmare trap for the Zergs, then you should be able to.
Make the groups think beyond where your loot and TC is when attempting to raid you.
Please keep in mind folks if you comment on this string - I'm not the originator of the thread's post. I pulled it from a link in Reddit, because I agreed with that player, and wanted to (hopefully) get someone in FacePunch to address it. *shurg* was worth the minimal effort to post his original thoughts, here on their forums.
