I just tried adding a background myself 256x512 and was a jpg. Didn't seem to do anything. I even downloaded another users background to make sure I was saving in the same file type.

You just need to make bigger posts so it shows more.

Funny thing is I downloaded a couple of other peoples and worked out the sizing and where the cut off is to design mine to compensate for that. I downloaded Reagy and Redbadger's avatars and they was both jpg. I have 20 coins again now and could try with a .png but not sure if I should risk it. The image file size is only 104kb and that's smaller than @Noob© 's background.
