[MINECRAFT] A cozy PvP faction server, called Cafecraft
1 replies, posted
After playing privately with just close friends, we decided to open a new bukkit server for the public, based on our previous good experiences.
Over the years we have experienced many great moments in minecraft, and after not playing for more than a year, we hope to replicate those good moments.
We are aiming for a cozy server, not the overcrowded kind, but not the "maximum 3 players online at the same time" either.
As our social contacts are quite limited (mainly due to us having such an abstract sense of humour), and that's why we hope to pluck some interesting people from Facepunch.
We have a specific selection of plugins, instead of an overwhelming amount of 500+ memory-eating and lag-pooping additions.
Neither are we exaggerating with administrative plugins; we are counting on the maturity of players, rather than limiting everyone to placing seven blocks a day, maximum.
Now the actual server information and plugins you need to know about:
- Creeper, TNT and other explosions don't do any block damage but they do hurt and create knockback.
- Factions, which lets you create groups and protect/buy plots of lands.
- Horses, which is basically a virtual stable, where you can buy, summon, and dismiss horses at any time through chat commands
- an economy with shops:
There is a pretty limited shop at spawn, and there are 4 other, external shops, scattered at around 1000 blocks away from spawn.
Inspired by the trader cities in the Dayz Epoch mod for Arma 2. More info about these shops at spawn itself
- LWC protection, which protects your containers/chests.
- McMMO, a popular roleplaying plugin that adds various skills and abilities to your player.
- home setting and teleporting to your home location.
The server version is: 1.7.2
The server IP is: 83.84.142.147
It's a European-based server, no whitelist.
