Lets play Unreal, the first game in the unreal (herp) Series and its spin-offs Tournament and championship both of which are pretty popular, was released in may 1998 by Epic games and published by GT interactive which is now defunct. Unreal was famous for the ( At the time) graphics and audio quality, level design, and game-play, not to mention fun weapons.
Now I have never played unreal, although I have spent many a day playing UT2k4 and to a lesser extent 3 and love them so bear with me if I am not the greatest.

Got my first PC with a 3D card (Orchid Righteous Voodoo 1) back in '98 on the strength of this game's performance on it :v:
My Dad still compares graphics based on the Nali Castle flyby and the Nyleve Falls waterfall to everything modern.
