You would probably be able to play but with constant lagspikes, i tried with him last night after i had patched to 1.04 and it worked but was [I]INCREDIBLY[/I] laggy due to the fact he shares his internet with his neighbours.

Well, i don't share my internet connection
and i usually have good connections to everyone, even on supreme commander its only laggy late game
