Hello everyone,
[release]The Virtual Worlds is a fairly small community looking to expand, we're currently one of the only active Tiramisu 2 servers out there and we plan with your help of course keeping the script alive by making sure the server stays alive along with it.
We currently have a handful of regular players who have helped me in making what Virtual Worlds is today, but we still need your help![/release]

*This is taken from the Tiramisu 2 official thread:
In a few words, it's an RP script.
Of course, I'm not just gonna stop at a few words because it's not the kind of thing that can be described in a single line. Tiramisu is more than just an RP script, it's a project that Fnox and I (Fnox foremost, I'm a lazy ass) have been working on for almost 3 years, using Cakescript G2 originally by Nori/JWJ. It's no longer in any way similar to Cakescript G2, however, Tiramisu 2 uses roughly 3% of the original unmodified Cakescript G2 code, the rest has been modernized, extended, scrapped altogether and modified to bring you, the user, the most extensive and feature complete RP script that GMod has seen thus far. Tiramisu 2 doesn't look like anything, it doesn't feel like anything you may have seen before as it is made with the intention of looking and feeling unique. It's a different way to play.
Tiramisu 2 is like the sandbox of roleplay scripts. You know how in sandbox you can build a plane or a space ship or a skyscraper? In Tiramisu 2 you can start it up and build a roleplay with absolutely no programming skills. It's all done in pretty menus and easy to understand wording. Best of all? It's free.
Let me add to this, Tiramisu 2 in my eyes one of the best roleplaying scripts out there and after a few hours tweaking it we think we've created a really immersive experience. Tiramisu 2 combines a third person camera with a rich character customization allowing you to pretty much make your dream roleplayer.

- You get hungry and thirsty ICly
- All actions must be justified with /me's
- Your character is not a super hero, don't act like they are
- Fear RP is a very important factor, refer to the rule above
- You're not a one man army
- Be polite to new comers, if they ask something respond
- This is a serious roleplay server, act like it
- Making your character look stupid in the editor will get you banned
- Always try to act as if you're a character inside the post apocalyptic world. Try to immerse into the game; RP is more fun that way.
- If you wouldn't do what you're about to do in real life, you probably shouldn't do it in game.
- Always try to use proper spelling and avoid using internet emoticons, that way people will understand you.
- Try to be creative, but don't trample over others' creativity. You can build your character from the ground up, make him/her unique.
- Over the top characters will be removed, this includes making your character look like the slender man, keep it as real as possible in this post apocalyptic world.
- There is no excuse for RDM as you can gain nothing from it, in-fact there should be little to no killing at all.
*More rules can be found in-game via the help menu

You have access to 10 inventory slots in which you can spawn props and make them cosmetic items, you can also choose from a number of preset items we have in the marketplace. After you're done creating a character you can spawn 4 props in the world and create somewhat of a fort if you're in a group.
Regarding factions you can register your faction on our forum and can own a piece of land on the map, when you register your faction you need to keep track of the supplies you find out in the world so if there's any issues we can spawn them for you.
You do not lose items on death, this hopefully will stop RDM and killing for gear although we may change it in the future as it creates a bit more suspense as it doesn't really matter now if you die.
Story: Prologue
Now - The War That Will End War
A planet tainted by blood and oil. Human fighting human, mechanism fighting mechanism. Battles between two enemies end only when a side is victorious or an even greater evil. A famous quote spoken by Friedrich Nietzsche "The best weapon against an enemy is another enemy."
Nothing could have been more true, yet even the cooperation between two forces that nearly annihalated this world was not enough to stop the darkness within.
Two years have come to pass since the beginning of our story, the year is 2048, yet the same truth remains, as always does in the story of man-kind. A power that threatens to destroy many lives, both being human and in-human.
Whether you are a remnant from this jagged history or a newly awaken stasis patient, the time has come once again for decisions to be made that will shape the course of history.
The choices made by you, your friends, and your enemies will decide it all.
Will this be the story of your life? Or will it be the story of how you died?
With the many questions I'm sure you have, I cannot answer them all. For now I can simply give my name and occupation. I am Jake Jackson, I am a soldier, I am a scientist, I am human.
For now, all I can say is: be who you are. May it bring darkness, light, or something inbetween.
Interstate 42 - The Road Untraveled 2048
The road that once thrived with life has only recently begun to populate with traders, many much too fearful to crosss it's unkempt asphalt. It was once the closest thing to life thriving within this barren wasteland, Interstate Fourty-Two.
Belmont, a location that is now an encampment. It began as Delta's home, a simple few houses and grew. It thrived as a small community even as Alpha fought against it. The town was famous for being the first target of the Darkness. Most of it was burned to ashes, but a few remnants refuse to burn out. It's also the home of "Stasis Project: Revival."
This road was once the Nile of this desert, being the safest way of travel. It's slowly returning to its glorious self.
An Army - Stasis Project: Revival
A little over a year ago, in a desperate attempt to weaken Alpha's numbers, Delta created a program that held many aspects. The initial plan was to alter the DNA of captured humanoids, turning them into a synthetic creature that Alpha hesitate to fire upon due to the attackers being their own men.
However, this idea gradually merged with another one. Delta would create synthetic beings from scratch with improved genetics, giving them a heightened senses and abilities that would greatly surpass that of their predecessors, humans.
This was all in hopes of creating an unstoppable force.
Men and women, children and the elderly. All were collected and placed within stasis pods and preserved until the second portion of the project could be completed successfully.
Alas, the project was put on hold due to the attack by the darkness a month later. With both sides completely engulfed in battle, a neutral force, Jake Jackson took the opportunity to modify the gene sequence and consequently created multiple altered humans with heightened abilities.
He transferred them to stasis and as the battle quickly came to an end, the area was under control of the infamous Private Military Corporation, Black Rain.
Delta - Then and Now
Originally created by Natalie Wood, who was overtaken by her creation. She had used technology of an advanced raced to design a suit which would improve her overall being. Instead, Delta Major V1.1 erased who she had been and became who she now is.
She had a dream that was shattered by her creation. An army was slowly formed, but because of the efforts humanity put forth in an attempt to regain their independence, it remained minimal.
After the initial attack of the Darkness, Black Rain allied itself with Delta in the midst of battle. Both sides seeking their survival. Both sides desperate.
Alpha - Falling, one by one.
In the beginning, the fight started with one orator: Benjamin Thomas. His voice is what brought together humanity and pushed it to fight. "Fight for what is right!" are the famous words spoken by the hero of humanity at the first gathering of the rebellion.
However, with little aid and few supplies, the resistance began losing battles. Losing men. One by one. Men, women, children all lost their lives in hope of a brighter future.
In the time before the arrival of the Darkness, Alpha merged itself remaining few numbers with Black Rain. Desperate to survive, ending the rebellion, but starting something even bigger.
Black Rain - Private Military Corporation
Founded by Stephen Bruni before the Utopian War, Black Rain started out as a simple head hunter community with the simple interest of money at heart. This changed as the group climbed the steps of power.
Through the Utopian war, Black Rain supplied Alpha with weapons and other means of resisting the authority of Delta.
I like the whole part that you can own your own piece of spot on the map, that is very decent, the sandbox style theme setting is very nice.
Decency is scarce these days, and this place seems pretty interesting.

Appreciate your kind words, if you're interested we have a rather in depth short story which covers what's happening in the server!

That'd be interesting. Like you know, a story of a world. Like the people developing their characters are creating a world i nthe server. That world has it's own story and so on and it can be extended with every day that passes.

Where's the smarked rating when you need it
Is there a canon or storyline to the roleplay? I'd be interested to know it.

Yes there is, we've just finished writing up a prologue and we're currently working on the main storyline now. When it's finished I'll be sure to post it here! I'm also going to work on the OP when I get the time, screenshots, more info all that jazz.
Made a couple of changes regarding the OP, screenies and the prologue.
I'll actually have to check this out, I typically don't either.
Really good thread you've made here.
Played here for a short while but had to go soon after. From what I see, however, they've got a really nice setup going on. It's clear that at least a fair bit of effort has went into this roleplay experience and everyone was friendly and helpful on the server. They've done something really nice, I hope it takes off well.
-snip, holy fuck I'm dumb as shit please rate me boxes. I deserve it.-
Me and a friend got on, the server was empty and the script seemed pretty screwed up.
For one, items that you equipped floated everywhere and you couldn't actually move them anywhere on your body to fix them, and thus I had a hat that floated above my head sideways and a backpack that was on the floor that skidded around with me.
Secondly, my inventory screen got stuck, effectively breaking the entire script and forcing me to disconnect.
and lastly, any items that we did find (aka two in the entire map) didn't do anything, one of them didn't even show up in my inventory and simply vanished when I pressed use on it.
Did the script break, or am I doing something wrong here?
Sometimes you need to click on the drop down menu again for the options to be clickable if it's the problem I think you're on about, if it's not could you go into a bit more detail?

Sorry you had a difficult time with it, regarding the items being screwed up when you equip them you can't use the Wear button when you equip it for the first time, you need to attach it to a bone first this will allow you to move the item around at your will for example if it were a backpack attach to > upperback, if you click the wear button it essentially attaches it to a non-existant bone, to fix this just press Tab > Characters then close menu and your item should be fixed
The items you found in the map were most likely food or drink as that's what I mostly put down and if you pressed use on it then I'm guessing you consumed it this gives health, if you have full health it won't do anything, on the other hand if it were a glowstick, yeah... they're pretty broken.
