Hello,
I am here to introduce the new City roleplay from the creators of Black Mesa Roleplay. This server runs DarkRP as a base but is different from the rest.
The Jobs:
- City Council
- Police Officer
- Gun Dealer (need license - only cops or special people)
- Health Inspector
- Mayor
- Chief Police Officer
- Janitor
- IT Technician
- Shop Keeper
- News Reporter
- Lawyer
- Postman
- Estate Agent
- Banker
- Security Guard
- Doctor
- Cafe Cook
- Janitor
We will be adding more jobs if we need them and they're suitable. The difference is the jobs do not consist of "Terrorist, SWAT, Mob Boss" or anyone of that kid crap.
Instead the RP is more identical to real life.

The job menu is far from clogged. The jobs on there are the premade jobs with their individual salary, colour and model. If you want to get creative then you can use /job.
edit: Jesus if you're happy with the Facepunch RP server then stay there. Stop coming over here and bashing.

Its an obvious and direct ripoff of Facepunch RP first of all, I didn't believe Noss at first until I actually turned it on. Its got all the same mods and everything, only with a bunch of different, totally useless jobs. I mean seriously, the jobs are useless. Why not just have one civilian job and let them use /job. It also adds wiremod, which is kind of nice but most of the exploitable stuff is still on meaning the owner has no idea about wiremod, and shouldn't really have it on. Another thing is, the limitations on the server to players building. Best example is the fact that you have to pay for props, even if they are blacklisted you still pay, and on the note of restrictions, I noticed a lot of things, such as the [i]mayors office[/i] is pre-owned by the gun dealer, and its like that without a lot of doors too, meaning the player is disallowed to make there own things, and finally, not a lot of people actually play on the server.
So tl:dr - Its a spinoff of Facepunch-RP (If not - "INSPIRED") with a few additions in order to get players to his own server by using all the "Bad" things about FPRP and saying they don't exist on his, and limits them without any knowledge of the mods hes actually installed. Its an awful server, do not join this.
First of all, I have not even seen Facepunch RP. I clicked the thread and skimmed the video and assumed it was just an average Downtown server. I'm not trying to copy anything.
Yes you pay for props. You will only lose serious cash if you're spamming.
Some of the doors being wrong will be to do with editing some of the jobs earlier. If you add a job in the middle of others on shared.lua then it messes the door teams up.
Sorry If I don't have extensive wire knowledge, the server was put up yesterday. Things are still a work in progress. People do not play on a server instantly, It needs to gain a good reputation first which is what i'm trying to do.
I can't believe the amount of crap I'm getting here. I 100% did not copy or attempt to copy Facepunch RP. I've never played it.

Darkrp servers aren't very original
It's not a rip-off of Facepunch RP if the guy's never even fecking being on it.
If you check the mods they are all the same. Besides, you have seven posts.

As stated, the server is less illegal orientated. You are also saying that using mods like PCmod is copying Facepunch RP. Why would anyone name their server after a community filled of arseholes. I'll never know.

Which one? There was someone who was minging and used /job.
There was also another one who was kicked by mistake but was also acting like a smart ass. I have told the admin in question about the kick.

Setting your job to something criminal is hardly minging. He also kicked a guy for simply having a custom job.
By minging someone was prop minging. The guy that kicked someone for using /job has been told. He is from Belgium and seemed to think we were having no criminal jobs whatsoever.
Yes there's cops. There is theft and other crimes but none of the usual everyone gets an ak47 and goes killing crap.
You are clearly here from the other thread and are just trying to make it look terrible. It is very fun to play when the regulars are on in UK evening time.

EDIT: Also why do you need to set your job to "Criminal". If you're a criminal you shouldn't really tell everyone that looks at you.

I keep getting harassed by that Justin Mahen (admin) every time I play. Honestly I think this is pretty bad, despite of the excellent maps.
holy shit guys ok so this isn't the best server in the world, that's normal. I won't be playing it but hey, best of luck to OP. But there was NO reason to bring up Facepunch RP, and it makes you look like an idiot for even comparing it to this.
