Alright guys, I started a new server.. Hope you guys like:

Welcome to the [SS] Clanserver!
Here at [SS] we embrace playing the game the way it was meant to be played. Our server is simple. Heres a few things you should know: We do not have any silly mods that lag and ruin the game, we only run sourcemod (For admin purposes), with the rank plugin. Nothing more! And due to popular request sv_pure is set to 0. Yay!
Here are the Server Rules, Follow them:
-Golden Rule: Play the game the way it was meant to be played, that is our motto. We embrace it, and we hope you do also.
-This server is for players who only wish to enjoy the game with others in an intelligent manner. No insulting, putting down, or mocking any other player in the server in anyway. Everybody is equal, yes even [SS] members and players. The [SS] tags only indicate that a player is a regular. Nothing more, nothing less.
-The admins won't always be around, so if you have any bad sports, hackers, and other stuff to report: Please send them to "SSclanTF2@gmail" comments and suggestions are also welcome.
-One more thing, here at [SS] we have have to pay a fee to keep the servers up. If you are interested in donating, again contact us at [email]SSclanTF2@gmail.com[/email] $5 will buy you a reservation in the server for 2 months and possibility of admin (After we get to know you, of course).
Some info:
I've been looking around the forums lately and alot of people want a nice good server with sv_pure 0 on. It's my pleasure to inform you that we do.
Hosted in NewYork by Art of war central. server tick rate is 66.. (TF2 doesn't support 100 tic)
The server is alltalk, so it's always a party.
The server is 17+, we don't mind younger children.. but they need to act 17+. Annoying little kids will be kicked, Sorry!

pub map != pug map
A pub map is a map where the players will want to keep playing. Usually they are payload or A/D. An example of a non pub map is any push map. You can tell because the teams, instead of 12:12, end up 6:6. Pug maps ALLWAYS have 6:6 in the end.
2fort is always a bad choice too. Turtles may be nice, I like turtles myself, but they do not belong in TF2.

Admin add-ons only
decent map rotation for pub play
no donation incentives
all-talk on/off ALL THE TIME (end of round alltalk confuses me. I would like to know if I could plan with my team, or taunt my enemies.)
Serious game play. unsrs servers are the reason orange x maps were ported, and they are unfinished pieces of crap.

We are just trying to play the basic levels, this isn't a 24\7 2fort server... that kinda crap. We don't use any custom maps, skins, and mods that just lag the server. The player count is set at 24, the way valve intended and we listen to our players.. So if you want a specific map or setting changed, we will see what we can do.
Right now we have about 10 players on so if you guys want to come in it would be fun. :)

First, take a look at the player counts in each map and at each stage. The peak hour for TF2 is 7 pm EST. By then you should have a target of 20 players for the map, if there are any drastic changes in this, then you might want to change the rotation a bit.
My clan had to do this for their server and it helped drastically. We could get the server filled every night.

I have no respect for unjust and biased opinions. If people treated things slightly more seriously, then I might have some hope for our species as a whole. But so far, shit is hitting the roof, and fast.
Pretty good server from my hour and a half of playing on it. It just needs some more players.
Let me clarify a bit for some people out there.
I will have to sit down and fix the motd a bit, but this is just a place for a bunch of nice guys to come in after work\class, w/e and have a fun time. Like a safe haven from their hectic lifestyles (Something me and some of my buddies need)
If we have guys coming in yelling, starting crap like "dude stop whoring the ____" and garbage like that.. they will just be kicked and banned if necessary. See the thing is, I don't care if I lose a player from the server. If they are gone, most likely they were bad in the first place. This server isn't going to be like the other servers out there who just want to get members and donations. We aren't even a "clan" We aren't going to have clan practices, clan superiority, clan members do not get admin, and they will be treated with the same respect as everybody else on the server. If I see a clan member abusing.... anything. They won't be one any longer. The tags are only a way of showing you are a frequent player on the server. Clear enough?
