Modern World RP V.3: Kill One Another For A Gallon of Oil Edition - Games

[B]Welcome, ladies and gentleman (Just kidding, you're all men, it's the internet) to the latest attempt at a Modern "Run your own country" RP.[/B] [img_thumb] http://filesmelt.com/dl/1M.png[/img_thumb] [B]Prologue:[/B] The year is 2012. The world is rapidly running out of resources, and people are struggling to continue their existance. Massive drought plagues the lands of many undeveloped countries, and some people have resorted to wicked measures to protect their supplies. Oil is in high demand, but in low supply. The heat is rising tempers. Water levels progressing upwards cause some islands to be put completely underwater. It is projected that by 2015 there will be such a low supply of oil that most countries will struggle to function. You are leading a nation. It's your job to preserve your country using any methods necessary. War. Diplomacy. Isolationism. The choice is yours. [B]Rules:[/B] 1. Don't bitch. Simple enough? If things don't go your way, and you have a valid reason as to why they should work out, I might change it, looking over my own mistakes. If you have no valid reason, just stop. 2. No being a martyr and nuking everyone because you lost. (Ex: PinkPanzer) 3. NPC's will declare war on each other and YOU. Some will be peaceful, some won't. Don't get mad when Peru and Bolivia fight to the death over some fish. 4. Be nice to each other. We're all bros, so some teasing is okay, but don't start a drama war. [B]Guidelines for Turns and Sign-up:[/B] 1. If you want a country, message me the country you'd like to play as, along with the turn sheet. If you'd like, you can post the country you'd like to play as and I'll reserve it. 2. Be descriptive when you send in turns. It's important. 3. Message me about alliances. Both parties must message me about it, or I will not put it into the turn. [B]Sheet:[/B] Military Actions: (What you do with your troops and ships, declarations of war.etc) Internal Political Actions: (Changing policies, and movements in the government system) External/Diplomatic Actions: (Making alliances and trading technology with other countries) Economic Actions: (Research, industry focus, economic system changes) I'm probably gonna take up to 15 players if it does hit that limit, though I will try to get as many people into this as I can. This entire RP will be similar to Sobotnik's format, with some minor changes. Hopefully you all will be fine with some differences. I'll be glad to answer any questions that are asked.
