Yea, lets play warhammer 40k over Vassal.
If you don't know what 40k is, you don't belong here.
We will decide points/maps/whatever in ventrilo. Vent info will be provided.
Game will go up in a few hours.
What is Vassal?
It is a program that you can do tabletop games on, it does all calculations for dice rolls and whatnot.

Unfortunately because GW is paranoid about people not buying models, they shut the site down.
But, there is a torrent for the module, and the multiplayer servers are still up.
This is a legal download, the community saved a copy and is now distributing it.

I might, it's just that I stopped tabletopping before 5TH edition, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to play or not.
We can play 4th edition, I didn't even know that a 5th came out.
Plus, I'm a noob, and this is gonna be a friendly game so the rules can bend a bit, so you can keep your codexes open for reference and stuff.

When you are given a window that hopefully has V40K on it, click it and then it swill say "look for a game online".
Blargh. I have forgotten all the rules. I'm also not sure I can be bothered making an army list.

The codexes are around 15-80 pages in length, and providing them would be piracy because they aren't free.

You don't like me because I'm not prepared to buy some codexes to play an online game. Congratulations, no-one else is coming anyway :downs:
1st off, the game is TABLETOP. This is an emulator. If you don't even know what 40k is, you aren't invited because most likely you've never even seen a tabletop game before.

If you knew the basics of the game in the first place, you wouldn't want to play because everything is a sprite and everything is by dice roll.
This is almost a pen and paper game. Everything has stats, chances etc...

This is a tabletop game, you can' just join a server and play, it takes preparation and around 4 hours to play a game.
HOLY SHIT this is awsome i have been wanting do play Warhammer 40k forever but there is only a few pepole who play it in estonia and its too expensive til i get a job so this is the perfect fix :v:
