Hello people. This post is from when I opened my very old HL2RP server. I am now advertising Generation Gaming's new gamemode. Half-Life 2 Divided World! Half-Life 2 Divided World is a custom gamemode thought up by the community's developer, rex41043. He came up with the idea and everything. It takes place around 15 years since 2016, the humans have finally defeated the combine and the world is trying to re-build. However, not all were fighting for the resistance, some were still loyal to the combine. All of the combine that weren't killed out have left Earth, but the humans that were still loyal to the combine have hidden and stayed quite slowly re-building their society again. The left-over resistance members from all over the world are now in the "Lambda-Coalition" which is basically the way the government used to work. Their are citizens, police, military, and all the general jobs you can think of. Then there is the "Combine Republic" which are the remaining loyalists that have re-built combine law in their small society. However, you start off as a refugee which can choose to be independent or decide which society you want to be a part of. It is still new as well as the community, I have recently gotten Generation Gaming's own domain and it is still in the workings with themes and such. But we hope that you would check out the server and leave feedback of what you think and what we should improve on. Thank you for reading this! (Sorry I have been quiet for so long. The DarkRP server is not mine, my host needed to change the location and gave me a new IP.)

I'm sorry about that. I wasn't really sure what else to use. Could you maybe give me some suggestions on what I should use to get a community site up?

Generally if you're hosting a server and want to host a website for that server as well, don't use a free website host. It may save you a few dollars a month, but it also shows how much you care about your community/server to players. So if you don't have a website that's your own domain name and is a .webs/.enjin/.whatever it shows that you don't really care about/ aren't willing to invest in your community as much as you should be willing to; and if you're not willing to invest in your own community, why should anyone else be?
That's the general hate behind any free web host, I mean you can use one but you should at least pay to have the .webs/.enjin/.whatever removed from your domain name along with any ads.

Agreed. A free website is not appealing whatsoever. I use Enjin but I pay for the domain name as well as to have the ads removed, making it appear as a regular website.
Use MyBB or SMF with a cheap host. Both are free forum softwares, but look very professional.

I changed up the whole community. It now has it's own custom gamemode that is still somewhat in the workings and I'm working on the community website.
I suggest you edit the original post with pictures and more details on your server. I'd also add a general outline of what to expect in-character. By that I mean ranks of the Civil Protection, general laws, ways to make money (if they can/want to, CWU perhaps?)
Edit: Nevermind what I said if you changed it from HL2rp to DarkRP.
