HISTORY - The year is 2036 and corporations are becoming more intrusive than ever. With many of their supporters in political positions major corporations seek to gain full control over the world economy and the Governments of their native countries, but at what cost to the public? Current Map: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/SPIQy4Zl.png[/IMG] HOW IT WORKS - Each player is in charge of designing their own corporate logo (150 x 250 px), and have the choice to choose an existing corporation (Listed below) or to create their own with it's own back story. Upon creating their own corporation players must choose the archetype of their corporation (What they originally supply, later in the game these can be expanded), eg. Experimental Technology and R&D (EWTRD) Food Supplier (FS) Consumer Products (CP) Independent Spy Agency (ISA) Pharmaceutical Companies (PC) Arms Manufacturer (AM) Media Empires (ME) EXPLANATION OF ARCHETYPES - EWT – Develops and researches experimental technologies that would otherwise be considered fiction. Doing so makes them ideal targets for defence contracts. Although it takes a long time to develop such technologies the pay-off is well worth it and allows them to gain a lot of ground at once. FS – In control of the worlds global food supply which in turn gives them a powerful advantage. FS Corporations control global food prices and production and are able to work in conjunction with EWT and PRF Corporations in order to create some interesting situations on the global stage. CP – Easily one of the more profitable corporations, Consumer Products Companies manufacture items that range from the latest Tablets and iDevices to shower curtains and toothpaste. Creating a big name for themselves means that CP's can gain the publics trust easily as well as that of big governments. It also makes them ripe for lucrative business offers. ISA – Independent Spy Agencies actively work to steal secrets and designs breakthroughs from other companies. It is also possible for companies to approach an ISA Corporation and request that they steal certain secrets and documents from rival corporations, for a fee of course. PC – Pharmaceutical Companies are in charge of the worlds pharmaceutical supplies as well as medical research and innovation. PC's are encouraged to research cures for common diseases and then choose to release them to the public or continue to milk profits from charities dedicated to finding a cure for said disease. Working in conjunction with EWTRD Companies PC's can have a massive advantage but only if used correctly. AM – Arms Manufacturers are what make the world go round. AM's are heavy supporters of war and just about anything that will increase their sales. AM's are also able to research experiential weaponry but are greatly aided when working on conjunction with EWTRD's. ME – Media Empires are by far one of the most powerful corporations. ME's can easily influence public opinion on a variety of products and decisions and are a must-have ally if you want your company to maintain a good image. ME's usually specialise in cover-ups and PR. AIM OF THE GAME - The aim of the game is simple. Take over the world. This is done through pushing corporate puppets into your starting countries Government and maintaining control of the public whilst moving to take over as much territory as possible in other countries. Once taking over a Government you essentially gain control of your own private and public army making territory conflicts with other corporations that much sweeter. EXISTING CORPORATIONS - These are the corporations that players may choose to begin the game with, they offer no significant advantage and still require that you make your own logo.
