This RP takes place in a pinnacle moment in Cold-War History. The United States is locked in brutal conflict in Vietnam, and their influence in Europe is at an all-time low. The Soviet Union flexes it's muscles, and the Warsaw Pact responds in honor.

Good question! Truly, this is a strong feat to be taking on the first time.
1) Citizens are NPC also, and might not always bend to your whim
2) Try not to "finalize" your turn. Simply give the info
ie.: - FRG designs a new assault rifle, that now arms the infantry of her army. [ ]

- The United Kingdom appeals to join the European community. After discussions, they are accepted
- Large industries are privatized, much to the discontent of the socialist parties
- The 'Beeching Axe' is repealed, and work begins again on the railways, modernizing them
- The United Kingdom expands on free-trade throughout Western Europe
- Mining, Factorial and Agricultural subsidies are cut, upsetting many who were dependent on them
- The Sexual Offenses Act of 1967 is extended to Northern Ireland and Scotland, decriminalizing Homosexuality. This is also extended to the armed forces and merchant navy.
- Drugs such as LSD and Marijuana are decriminalized, to the discontent of conservatives, but the youth of the nation are more than pleased
- The United Kingdom begins heavy research into various technologies, such as Fiber Optic Cables, Satellites and personal computers. Though the progress is minimal at best, it shows that the UK is prepared to make great strides in computing technologies.
- The United States sends aid to assist in strengthening the United Kingdom's economy

- The Generals of the GDR make slight advances in terms of training, strengthening the mobility and combat efficiency of special forces.
- The GDR recognizes the FRG. Who begrudgingly recognizes them in return.
- Generals with exceptional, 19th Century facial hair are awarded with petty medals. One general enters the competition with a stubby, square mustache. He is quickly disbarred from the military and imprisoned.
- An attempt at free trade is opened up amongst the GDR and other Warsaw Pact members. Unfortunately, it is limited to arms and factory equipment.
