Our DarkRP server has many features.
When you join our server for the first time you will be given a $20K start. ( + $25K If registered at forums ). There are custom jobs, M9K weapons ( Assault, Machine Guns, Pistols, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles and Submachine guns. ) TDM Cars, and more.

That's what a lot of server owners think makes their server custom. I'm not saying the content should be the only reason to be on your server. Often it's the player base which makes the server great. Unless it's filled with shit that is.
But I miss a server that isn't just another generic one. One where the owner hasn't just filled it with some ch addons (not implying you have), but has actually taken their time to make it just stand out a little bit.

You're giving other players advantages for them giving you money, it's the definition of pay2win shit.

You're running a 30 person server. That will cost around £14-£16/mo from a server host, less if you use a VPS. You shouldn't be charging anything at all at this point.

Build a loyal fanbase, then once your server gets popular, allow people to donate for small, cosmetic benefits or benefits that don't otherwise generally affect gameplay, such as reserved slots or forum privelages. Right now by offering $250,000 in game you're ruining any semblance of economy there ever can be on a DarkRP printer server, and the spiderman SWEP just makes your server look like it's ran by a child.

Just because the majority of DarkRP servers are doing it doesn't mean that you should - and you especially shouldn't be doing it when you're the one registering on this website purely to advertise the server and beg us to play on it. You might not be forcing anyone to "donate", but you sure are giving them an advantage over others.

You're completely wrong, I don't use donations for my sever, I don't need money for a server. The owner brought the server, too make it stay up. Not too get kids to donate and get useless stuff.
