I was tired of DarkRP servers involving barely any actual roleplay and being completely oriented around guns and raids. So when I made Good Ol' RP I made it revolve a lot more around the government and overall the server having a lot more unique jobs that don't involve simply killing/mugging people. It has a very Mafia/Italian feel to it and overall a great atmosphere.

Well, I did expect more from the OP. You should go into more detail, include pictures or possibly videos of the server. Also, dat loading screen.

I noticed that loading screen problem too. It supposedly fixed itself, Im not sure why it was like that.

Thanks! To answer your question, it really depends what it is and how much time it would take me. If it's simply enough I'd be fine doing it for free. As for other work, I don't really just design things as a hobby. I needed a loading screen so I just put that together in photoshop.

This type of 'VIP' system automatically makes your server awful and gives it an awkward commercial feel. The fact that you think any of those perks are desirable proves that you don't really understand what good, fun RP is about.
Also you don't need 'unique jobs' as people can just use /job and you can let them pick any model they want, with a few exceptions (goverment etc). PAC is also great, it let's people customize their characters more. These are the kind of things that make your server stand out.
On a positive note, I like how you want to have a focus on actual RP.

What other type of VIP 'system' is there? I do find it unfair when people simply don't like the fact that there even IS paid-for membership, for it's really the only way to compensate the money Im putting towards the server running.
I am open to the idea of making significant changes to the server if it means it will be more appealing for this type of more serious roleplaying community. I would like to mention though that all 'unique' jobs that are available come with some sort of perk/item, where it simply wouldnt work if they just changed their name to that job as a citizen.

How do you think every single TF2/CS:S server is ran? Or anything else on the source engine? I don't see them selling "VIPs". That's just a nasty of way server owners try to make money which only happens in GMod.

It's silly to think that I am selfish for giving people an OPTION to buy something. They don't have to buy it if they don't want too... how is that nasty? I am providing a free service...
Are you suggesting that companies like Valve are nasty for trying to make money by selling hats in TF2?

That is mainly used for if there is ever a situation in which an admin/mod is not on and someone who is breaking the rules needs to be taken care of. Donators would have the next highest 'power' if a mod is not on at the time. If ever someone is caught abusing those powers, their membership will be revoked. I have seen this used many time on other servers...
