I'll be running things this time around, and we're gonna be doing a lot of shit differently, so READ UP: [img]http://i.imgur.com/4AetfFK.jpg[/img] -NO LURKERS/GIMMICKS/NEWBIES ALLOWED. If you don't have 300 posts and haven't been on this forum for at least 8 months, you're not allowed in. If you got into the last tournament though you're fine! This is a facepunch tournament, i want it to be between people actually using facepunch, so yeah. Plus it's really shitty if at the end we're all "THE WINNER IS THIS GUY" and everyone's response is "WHO???" -NO Mii's. -NO custom movesets -If you get disconnected during a match: If it happened when you were blatantly about to lose (80+ damage on last stock while opponent has 2 or more stocks) then you still lose. -ONE CHARACTER ONLY. This shit is more interesting this way as you're betting entirely off how well you know just one character, and it also means there's gonna be none of that dumb counter-picking bullshit. Of course to prevent counter-picking certain people by waiting to sign up at the last minute I'm just gonna keep all the character lists for people SECRET until we start. Yeah I guess that means I'll know who everyone is playing as but HEY I'M PLAYING AS SHIEK OK. -TRIPLE ELIMINATION! Once the first and second brackets are finished, I'll be starting a new bracket for everyone that opted to join in the third bracket to compete for 3rd+ place. You can be exempt from this if you want, but at the first least you HAVE to do losers brackets. -NO WUSSING OUT. Enough of this shit. We have a list of everyone that suddenly bailed during the last tournament. If it happens TWICE for you during any FP tourneys, you get banned for 3 days. It is 15 minutes out of your day, you are NOT that busy. Don't sign up if you can't handle playing a lot of smash bros or losing. -When your turn is up, PM your opponent RIGHT AWAY. Tell them all the times you are free to play within the next THREE days, then when they reply telling you what time works from that list, PM ME and tell me the set upon time. I need to keep track of whats going on, this is going to be a BIG tournament and I don't want matches slipping through the cracks again like last time for days at a time. -YOU HAVE THREE DAYS TO PLAY YOUR MATCH. This isn't asking much. We don't want shit to drag on for like three months with this shit so lets try and get it done at something resembling an appropriate pace. I've always found the tournaments i run with this restriction to be the more entertaining as everyone isn't constantly changing shit to try and match another player. It's about showing how good you are with your main character, not what characters might be slightly weak against whatever. Plus I asked for feedback in the smash thread and no consensus was reached towards any other solution, with everyone being fine with this, so fuck it we're doing it. Q. I live in England and I play with the 3ds version with my friends in 'Straya and the lag isn't too bad, so I'd imagine the lag between Europe and America shouldn't be too bad. Regardless, I'll only sign up when you've tested how it plays

If possible you could hold a seperate bracket for Xmas players where they compete for a chance to get in the main bracket.

I think I'm gonna pass on this one, I'm getting bodied by nearly everyone I play against online, it's disheartening. I think the only reason I made it so far in the 3DS tourney was because playing on the 3DS handicapped everyone to be at my level.

If I joined the tournament I'd need to find a new main, because the 'dorf just isn't cutting it like it did in 3DS.
