Which would you prefer in an upcoming DarkRP Server? (Need all the information I can get!) - Games

I have come to all of you to ask a simple preference on a DarkRP server of mine that could be released fairly soon. There are two scenarios on how my server will be shaped and I would like to ask you of your preference. It's at least fair to what people may actually enjoy, no? Alright so we are down two possible DarkRP ideas and how the server should be formed. EDITED: I am no long doing a Dark RP Server as I have no idea what I am getting myself into. I have to thank all the comments in this post for doing me that favour. I was in a very stressful state when I made this post and I guess that explains my shitty ideas for that gamemode. Thanks to some comments though I moved on and away from it and thought, why not sandbox? ON A BETTER NOTE: Even though I am scrapping DarkRP, probably for good, I do plan on doing something SandBox related. As much as I love Sandbox, I don't know what many people would like in one. For example, have short and sweet addons that make the server fun? Add some codehire? (I am against codehire btw, but I do have one addon from them) Honestly, this is a transition from my train wreck post. Yes, I could have made a different post. I just thought I could change all this negative energy into something positive. Bring on the suggestions/hate!

darkrp servers nowadays have so much content i'd prefer to play on a plain, simple vanilla one (I dont play darkrp tho)

Worst case study I've ever seen.

Try not to overstuff the server with pointless extra content. You don't the amount of jobs you have listed, most of them are pointless.

I like your idea of having lockpicks and raiding equipment purchasable, but starting a hitman job off with their own weapon is not a good idea and will probably lead to abuse. Ideally any job besides police should have to buy their own weapons in order to balance with the (in general) extremely weak weapons the police start with. Instead of having lots of different gang jobs, try to find a way to allow players to create their own individual gangs so you can have as many as you want (like multiple mob bosses, or just a general 'gangster' job where anyone can create a custom agenda list that other gangsters can subscribe to).

ANYTHING can change =) I was just looking for inspiration and stuff just to carry on. I have noticed that DarkRP has its ups and downs with the community and I do not blame them. Some servers have pissed me off a lot. So I decided to see how to make one that many people could like, can't make everyone happy but still worth a try.

If you're even considering having jobs such as 'Ninja Turtle' and 'Sewer Killer' you shouldn't be running a server.

Alright, I have heard enough. I was just taking a survey XD If I could request thread to be destroyed that would be nice. But I am sure it cannot be removed and I will live up to it. My main point of this entire post? Would people prefer a serious, semi-serious, or unreal-yet serious roleplay. Honestly, the ONLY reason why I suggested those odd ideas, was because I have seen successful servers with them. I got what I had from this crash-course thread and I appreciate the constructive criticism and some harsh comments which came from it. Thank you for letting me know and I am now off to code it properly. If an admin/mod comes by, please close this thread or if it is even possible, just remove it altogether. It is no longer relevant as of this post.
