LapisRP|ApertureRP is a NutScript-based server, revolved around role-playing as a worker in the Aperture Science Laboratories. What is NutScript? [QUOTE]NutScript is a framework. For example: inventory, characters, attributes, factions, and more are already built into the script. All one needs to do is to get a hold of a schema to run, as NutScript will not function on its own. [B]Aperture Worker[/B] ...Or you can do something more interesting. As a worker, you have three options of what area you want to work in. You can be a chemist, meaning you would make gels, such as repulsion gel. You can be a technologist, meaning you work on the cores, such as the morality core. After levelling up using playtime and good role-playing skills, you can access the GLaDOS chamber and either work full time or part time on the GLaDOS. [B]Test Subject[/B] Maybe you aren't one for making things, but you are for using them? Become a test subject! Test subjects test new gadgets, machines and substances created by Aperture workers. [B]Security Guard[/B] Maybe you want more action? No problem, you can always apply to be a security guard. Security guards are the protectors of all Aperture personnel and their work. Security guards are armed with Glocks when needed if there is a serious crime or issue. [B]Aperture Elite Force[/B] Security guard still not enough? Fine. You can be an A.E.F soldier, this is Aperture's most elite and highly trained branch of security. These guys only come on in serious situations, for instance a terrorist attack, which is unlikely to happen in Aperture. This force is rarely around, but once they are, you'd better stay away. [B]Aperture Control Group[/B] Maybe you're not looking for action, but you want a high status? You'll want to join the Control Group. This group of people keep Aperture running after Cave Johnson's death and make sure his dying orders for the workers are being carried out. [B]What kind of RP will I find on ApertureRP?[/B] The main type of RP you'll find here is ScienceRP. This comes in many forms, however. There can be chemistry, physics, technology, quantum and more. Occasionally, there is some ActionRP on some events, such as a GLaDOS activation test (maybe). Some maintenance personnel may find themselves doing... Unclogging-a-toilet RP... No offense, but when I joined it was in the middle of the most retarded event. I understand using GLaDOS like people use the cascade for Black Mesa RP, but the retardation went from giving every scientist a shotgun to "radiation pumps" and other retarded impossible/non-existant shit.

It's pretty good because now we know our limits.

So really, they only save if we want them to.

The map has everything needed to roleplay, the players can roleplay and the schema really just add's factions and items.

Is it up? This actually sounds really interesting but the click to join button says "server is not responding" and joining manually using "connect lapisrp.servegame.com" doesn't work/

It's just a derp idea to change the gamemode to a "temporary one", you're loosing possible new players, like me! And I'm anxious to create a security guard on your server, just waiting.

The idea is neat. You just need to find a way to make it more appealing. You didn't add any screenshots or gameplay to the OP. Also the thing about roleplay.. not many people want to spend a bunch of time developing characters and such by means simply as text. "/me resarches siences" for example. Most players want to visually see what they are doing and have an interactive environment... which requires a lot more time to develop. Best of luck to you anyway.
