Yo sup fellow RP nerds. I'm launching an RP set in the High Middle Ages, specifically starting in 1090 AD, and likely ending sometime in the mid 1300's. It'll be ten years per turn, as well. Choose one of the major nations to play as, and either choose an existing ruler and dynasty or create your own! I'll be running the Papacy and events, and depending on how you'd react might jump in myself.

(The map, thanks to Damian)
If you want to join, fire me a PM with the following:
Dynasty: Your ruling dynasty. You also send in a dynastic banner if you create your own/are some obscure eastern European dynasty.
Faction: The nation you want to play as.
Ruler: The current ruling monarch.
State religion: The religion of the state.
(above is no longer required after first turn)
You must also send in your commands:
Military: Everything involving your military goes here. Also includes expansion on the map via force.
Domestic affairs: Everything inside of your countries borders.
External affairs: Everything outside of your countries borders. Includes expansion on the map via peaceful methods.
Copypaste: Type down here what you want me to include in the turn (such as backstories, your religion/culture/lore/news/etc) that will be pasted into the turn.

Now, I'm thinking on doing a few things different with this. First, there's no player-determined tech advancement. Sorry, you can't build ironclads and produce rifles in 1326 AD. Second, most reforms and the like will be put into a 1-10 number generator to see how successful they are. So be careful before trying to curb baronial power or else you might end up with a Magna Carta.
Adding on to that, some reforms simply won't happen. You can't introduce contracted men-at-arms and professional longbowmen in the first three turns, for the Europeans you'll be dealing with levies and knight-service for about two hundred or so years, and similar systems for everyone else. Armies sizes will be determined based on a few factors, mostly time of year, population size, and public happiness.
And third, I'd like to handle military campaigns differently. Instead of you lot writing me two paragraphs and me deciding how it goes from there, I'll try and pull both parties into a Steam chat and we'll basically walk through the campaign together, same with battles. If you're unavailable, or you just don't want to do it, I can just do the classic method though.
Feel free to add me on Steam if you have any questions.
Edit
Oh forgot to mention, if you feel particularly aggrieved about your favourite tribe not being represented (ie Finns or Irish) you can pick out some territory and create your own faction. Do realize that you'll be semi-nomadic iron age savages and be treated as such when it comes to decisions
Chief Valta Vihavaino
go
Emperor Daye Targaryen of the Holy Roman Empire GO
Oh good I was hoping someone would choose the HRE
Sadly short of dragons and silver-blonde sisters though

so sad indeed, Damnit time to invent silver hair dye and dress dogs in cheap dragon costumes
I would almost want to do this, but I'm kinda worried that I'll end up powerplaying and overstepping my boundaries as a player.
We can cross that bridge when we come to it, join in
England go
Sure, does Elder Sotamielj' in here seem okay?

Oh and there'll be a far less awful map tomorrow, the reference I used was apparently crazy inaccurate
Too many RPs I am involved in. I cannot participate in this one.
Ill be following it though. I may join later

And that map is right here!
[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/xGXGxO.png[/t]
Main features:
- Sea provinces and river provinces have been removed to make the whole map look nicer.
- The HRE isn't a stable, centralized empire like it is shown in CK2, so I cut out the HRE's interior vassals and I put a special border around the HRE to signify it is part of the HRE.
- The map is from the 1st of January of 1090, according to CK2, so if you own the game, you can easily check the game for the country you want to play.

I'm a little confused about these sections. I'm guessing we put flavour events and stuff to do with our nation in the domestic affairs box, but for the military action and foreign affairs, do we communicate with each other beforehand and shit? Like, if I want to lead a military campaign against some filthy pagans, do I put it in the military action section and then walkthrough with the GM?

Generally military stuff covers what you do with your armies. If you want to contact foreign countries, you can pm the leaders of them (or the GM for NPCs).

If you want. You don't have to do a walkthrough, even if you're fighting other players. I just wanted to try something different. If you'd prefer, just write a description of what you do militarily, whether it be reforms, or raids, or war.
Foreign affairs with NPCs is mostly up to you, aside from when I write turns and decide how everything goes. Foreign affairs with other players you should handle yourselves, PM them or Steam chat, and send in the turn once you're done.

So far I have turns from
Sobotnik-Suomen heimot (South Finnish merchant tribes)
Jrose14-Denmark
[Green]-Kargaus (North Finnish republican tribes)
If you want to play please send in your turns at some point, I don't think I'll put out a turn before I get five entries, at least
