Now, for a limited time (as with all RPs), I will post it on Facepunch for the joy of... people. Are you a bad enough dude to stabilize your country so that it doesn't crash and burn horribly? A bad enough dude to keep the Axis from fracturing (too much)? A bad enough dude to keep Japan's 'colonial' empire from screwing off? Then this RP is for you. Send in your turns to me unless otherwise specified. 6. It takes more than one turn to research a tech and tech research slows down if you do more than one. 7. To establish countries, all you need is the name of the country in your turn title. Government type and flags can be changed after that if the default isn't suitable for you. 8. Keep the turns relatively short. If you can't fit the amount of progress and/or absolute agony your country is going through in 6 points per section, then you should probably tone it down a little. 9. Turns will be processed every Sunday. If there's a lapse in my schedule, I'll be sure to notify the thread. 10. If there are any errors in the map, please feel free to notify me (or supply me with a corrected map) and I'll incorporate it into the RP. Each turn is 6 months of time, so plan accordingly. That's the land wrecked by the ejecta from the 1933 eruption of the Yellowstone caldera. I'd just like to note I don't really believe in the stuff I put in the copypaste and It's just to invoke a feeling of a KKK run America.

No worries, Griffster, it's looking good. Values dissonance is one of the more fascinating things when speculating about a world where the Axis won. In other news, tweaked rule 6. You can research all of the techs you want, but every tech you research parallel will decrease the time all of them finish.

I'm confused. This is an alternate timeline "axis victory" scenario yet France and Britain and most of Eastern Europe exists as it does today. What gives.

What gives.[/QUOTE] It depends on how you define 'victory'. If you define it as 'surviving Grossdeutschland and Axis', then this fulfils it. If you define it as 'All of Hitler's wargoals', well... ImperialGuard's RP is pretty damn good from what I've read. It's not plausible, but it's certainly fun. I'm debating whether or not I should make the NPCs do stuff without player intervention. What do you guys think?

I thought NPC activity was always to be expected in these. Since we only have like three players at the moment I think most of the action in this RP will have to come from interacting with and reacting to what NPCs throw at us.

Cuban-American War (1944-) Belligerents are the United Republic of America and the Republic of Cuba Matanzas is the only town captured by the Americans at this moment. Chinese War of Reunification (1944-) Belligerents are currently the San Ma Clique and Communist China The Communists have committed a massive offensive, taking three provinces of the San Ma Clique. The war is sure to result in victory for the Communist side. [b]The NPC Theatre:[/b] Ludwig Beck has implemented economic reforms based on bringing Germany into a peacetime economy, employing top economists do to this. Preliminary results of this look promising. Documents of leaked research from the German end suggest that the new regime is focusing more on "Jewish Science" than ever before. Beck's response to this is that 'if the inferiors can do it, then we should do it ten times better." This leak also suggests that this science might be weaponized. Communist China has invaded and occupied the eastern end of the unaligned San Ma Clique, which does not seem to be putting up much resistance as of yet. This is mostly due to the sheer amount of supplies that are being shipped there by unknown benefactors. Tension in the Axis grows as the CPC begins talk of 'reuniting China' and threatening Japanese occupation of the country. The USSR says that these are 'hollow words', but despite this, the Japanese are on full alert inside the occupied territories. Beck has not given a statement on which nation to support in this crisis, but the more cordial relations with Stalin suggest that he might be taking the pragmatic route of aligning with the USSR. The 'Rio de Janeiro' crisis has broken out as a domestic rebel group that had formed in the late months of 1944 orchestrated riots in the capital. Word is going around of a possible coup and the Brazilian army has been deployed in the capital. There are no leads as to why the rebels formed or who funded them, but they are preaching a message of fascism and the 'proper Brazilian man' as their ideal goals. German-Italian relations are higher than ever, Mussolini pleased that the new German government has gone back to the roots that were set up by Italian fascism. [img]http://i.imgur.com/MXWqWJ2.png[/img] [b]United Republic of America[/b] Political Stability: Decent Economic Status: Growing Military Strength: Good Current Wars: Cuban-American War WAR: THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF AMERICA INVADES CUBA, CAPTURES MATANZAS In a shocking display of force, the URA declared war on Cuba and in the winter months of 1944 invaded, capturing the town on Matanzas and locking it down as a beach-head. The Cuban army in Matanzas was defeated, partly due to the invention of the M2 Carbine which has become a staple of the US military. The invasion is regarded by the fascists as nipping democracy by the bud. In the Commonwealth bloc, however, it is seen as needless aggression on the part of the Americans and that aid to Batista was a possibility. The NDDAP, despite the American insistence of calling them the now-dirty word 'nazis' have grown ever fonder of America due to this invasion, the Japanese also following suit. The same can be said about all other countries in Europe. In domestic news, a decree passed by the American Party in 1944 declares that a form of 'indentured servitude' is legal for second-class citizens. Focus is made on the Afro-Cuban groups, which angers the Cubans in occupied Matanzas greatly. For the unemployed, public works projects are put into place in order to move into the deadlands and clean up the ejecta still left over from the 1933 eruption. A small sliver of land has been rendered usable, but none of the structures remain and it must be developed. In research news, investigation into the use of both nuclear fission and prophylaxis against Dengue fever are underway, with promising results from both ends. A possible candidate for the repelling of Dengue fever is a chemical called DEET, which repels mosquitos. Instead of suffering from methodical discrimination at the hands of the Whiteshirts, the Alaskan government discouraged discrimination with the Anti-Discrimination Act of 1944. All forms of discrimination based on race, age, and gender is now illegal within the Republic of Alaska both on the government level and an economic level. This has caused tension and cries of treason from the conservative population of the URA. An increase on upkeep when it comes to roads, railroads, and electrical equipment has led to a slow but sure development of infrastructure inside of the country and into the area affected by the Yellowstone eruption. A chunk of 'Terra Nullis' was taken by Alaska as they moved in to reclaim it, the government being able to control the chunk. The Alaskan Air Force is now a seperate entity from the Alaskan Navy, ensuring a more efficient and decentralized command of the Armed Forces. Power projection in the Pacific has increased steadily due to a buildup of the seperate Air Force and Navy, forming cordial relations with the USPC and reinforcing the Aleutian islands as a deterrent for Axis aggression. Trudges into the massive Terra Nullis wasteland to Canada by diplomatic convoys have also increased relations between Canada and Alaska. In immigration news, a massive influx of investors, inventors, and overall people from the URA and the Terra Nullis wasteland have taken place after successful tourism campaigns throughout the deadlands. These new immigrants aid greatly in the new doctrine of greater industrialization and oil extraction as they are paid under a public works arrangement. Among other public works projects is maintenance of sewer systems, although this is much less popular than that of factory building and development of infrastructure. In technology news, a prototype variant of the M1 Garand called the T20 was developed and is undergoing preliminary tests. This new variant has a detachable magazine to replace the internal one. It is assumed that the finished product would decrease the time in which an American soldier is not combat-ready and increase total readiness on the field. Also being developed is a jet fighter that was built by the remnants of Lockheed and rolled out just 143 days after being designed. Although the plane now has working models, it has not been rolled out into military service yet.
