You can give other classes cloak using plugins since the watch is just a seperate weapon, but I believe that backstabbing is hardcoded into the knife and you can't change that. Also the right clicking would get confusing.

umm thanks for reading and all[sp](not)[/sp]but i could care less about the dream itself it presented an idea to me that seemed completely possible given the modification capabilities of the tf2 userbase and i asked about it but i guess i should have worded it as just a silly idea and left the dream part out since people like to play the "noone cares about your dreams get out xD" card
It's perfectly feasable, I've seen worse mods [spoiler]frogs[/spoiler].
This would be an epicly funny mod. Kinda like ringking but you kill them instantly with a backstab (to punish them from not turning fast enough) It's p[ossible to do but you will need to recode every melee weapon.
Alright, here I go.
You could remodel the knife to a bottle (or call the bottle a knife and stick it in your tf folder, hehehe) and use a sourcemod plugin to give tf_weapon_knife to demoman. Then you could possibly (not for sure) use some sort of plugin/mod to grant the demoman the ability to cloak.

but this sounds like a really bad idea, this completely throws out team balancing. a scout running around that fast whilelist back stabbing everyone by bonking them?
that would be one popular server.
