I'm gonna be serious with you mate. But you computer is pretty bad.
I have the same PC as you. It should run fine with high graphics. Might be a bit laggy in giant 32 player servers though.
Well since it's most CPU rather than GPU that decides if you can run this game decent looking without 25 FPS but if you want the big-super-mega-awesome graphic option you'll need a better graphic card. Besides that I don't know how your game will look but you won't have any problem with the graphic unless you're a COD-Kid that requires the highest settings or else he cries to his parents to get him a new computer. tl;dr You got a decent computer and you won't be disappointed about your graphics.

Can't you just mess with your graphics settings through trial and error like most people?
Can't you just mess with your graphics settings through trial and error like most people?
Because it's much easier to ask people online that know what they are doing?
So having people go "uhhh try this blah blah" is easier than going "Ok, I get 10 FPS with these settings, let's see how these ones work."
Do you know exactly what I can set my settings at for maximum graphics on my current computer?
No idea but you can try until you get it how you prefer it. A tip is on advanced video option the top of field you can probably put everything on high except water detail, that is can get really laggy so put it on "reflect world". For the bottom part of advanced video options you should go after recommended at least for "antialising mode", "filtering mode" and "wait for vertical sync" and if you try both options on "multicore rendering" and choose the one you prefer, on the "motion blur" take disabled and HDR you might want to take "bloom if available". And if this messes up everything for you just go with all recommended and work your way from there. Hope this helps And if anyone thinks I'm giving this guy wrong tip tell him what he should do instead of just pointing it out.
i play it in my compaq notebook with a shit intel integrated and in dxlevel 81 + some tweaks + 800x600 it runs (like shit but playable)

You're welcome, I'm just happy that there are still people that listen to what you say.
I'm gonna be serious with you mate. But you computer is pretty bad.
My computer is definitely worse and can run TF2 on DX8 on medium settings with a bit of studdering at the start and 30 fps straight from there out. TF2 doesn't have high specs as people think it does.
Does having 60 fps out of battle but ~12 in battle count as normal?
I envy you. I can't even play TF2 on low with 3000 configs.
OP, I would guess you could run it in DX9 mode at medium-highish settings. Set textures to medium, no motion blur, no anti-aliasing and 4x anisotropic filtering and everything else on high, and you should be okay.
With those specs, it should look great. Hell, I have friggin' Chipset and it ends up looking like this: [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/ctf_doublecross0000.png[/img_thumb] I wouldn't worry about it.
i play on p4 2,8 without HT, x1650 and 1 gb ram on mid-high settings with enabled HDR and 2xAA, and have 20-30 fps. so you can run it very well i think.
Why would you have AA on if you get 20-30 fps?
because disabling it adds 1-2 fps, but looks a lot worse
Firstly, systemrequirements isn't an accurate site. Also, why haven't you updated to Vista SP2?
If I have AA on then I can't see SR sticky and payload glows... Anyone else having this problem?
I thought they fixed that on ATI cards.
I thought they fixed that on ATI cards.
It's not only ATi cards bug. I have 8800GTS and I can't see it, too.
I thought they fixed that on ATI cards.
For the Payload glows atleast it's an issue with enabling AA.
all you have to do is intsall Directx10 or up.
