Hey Guys i got some serious problems with my tf2!
The Game is crashing nearly every game when Im in a big firefight or when im getting overcharged... Then the Game just stops , throws me to desktop and telling me that hl2.exe stopped working... :(
Moreover i get some Problems with my Graphiccard driver ... I had them till 2 years and no Update wont fix it . It also throws me to desktop and tells me something like this "the Nvidia Driver "Vers.nr" has encountered a compatibily problem and has been shut down..."
I updated to several Versions but it didnt fixed it.
Since I have the problems till 1-2 years , sometimes more , sometimes no problems ... i cant really tell whats going on.
Over the time I did:
-format
-reinstall
-verify cache
-installed several drivers
-different windows versions
My System:
Core ² Duo E6750 2x2,67ghz
Nvidia 8800GT
4gb DDR2 Ram
Edit: Windows 7 64bit
I Hope you can help me , cause i would really like to play more than one map in a session... :(
(Hoped you understand my english ... German here ... :p)

I had this problem too, remove any custom übercharge sounds you have
I'd be careful with these type of threads. Last time I made one on my now exploded computer, I got a 3 day ban

Well fuck
My friend's also having this problem. He's completely deleted steamapps and all source gcfs, but no matter what it won't work.
It's annoying because roughly half a year a go it was working for him. He hasn't changed his computer or anything.
Same problem here.

I wouldn't if I were you
Anyways, I experienced a similar problem. I was capturing a point and out of nowhere TF2 locked up. Relaunched it and it crashed again after a while. TF2 almost never crashed for me before...
