you dont yell at the audience for not getting the joke,
you blame the comedian for doing a lousy job.
I sat there for four minutes going "I understand this, so why am I not laughing?"
Then I realized it's because it's not funny.
I sat there for like ten seconds and went "heh" and then closed it so good enough I guess.
