Lately when in regards to tf2 and sometimes other valve games I have seen the word SPUF alot, and all I can tell is it is porbably a forum/message board, can someone kindly tell me what it is/link it to me?

The only thing I know about SPUF and competitive TF2 is that people hate it.

Wrong. That is the Tf2 forums. There is a difference between the TF2 forums and other the other forums on that site.

That is not to say that SPUF's TF2 section is [i]completely[/i] filled with idiots, just the vast majority are.
I stopped visiting SPUF after they called gunboats UP.

This is what bugs me about players today, thinking that certain items are "OP".
It's real cute.
Soldier trades up the ability to defend himself with the shotgun in between battle and the ability to make a push for a cap with the buff banner for the simple ability to rocket jump more.
I find gunboats to be more or less useless, but they are balanced.
Truth of the matter is that all of the weapons are balanced.
Natasha is fine, doesn't need [i]tweaking[/i]
Sandvich needs to have a cooldown for dropping not for eating, that's one exception.
KGB are fine, heavy is trading the chance to kill an enemy faster for the ability to get crits for 5 seconds.
FaN is FINE, it's for run n' gun scouts, and works wonders on caps.
Bonk and crit-a-cola are fine, both trade scouts ability to fight long range with a pistol for the ability of crits/invuln
Sandman needs to be reverted to no double jump, last exception
Direct hit is fine, as long as the soldier can aim you can deal good damage.
Buff Banner is fine, as I said before on gunboats, mini-crits for the shotgun
Equalizer is fine, soldier is trading his own well-being for attack power.
Backburner is fine no matter how much you may hate it, it's great for ambush pyros
Flare gun is fine, trading his ability to fight other pyros/underwater enemies for the ability of long range burns.
Axtinguisher and Homewrecker are fine, both trade a severe amount of damage for special abilities that change how people play pyro.
All sniper weapons are fine, same with demo.
Engie's wrangler is the only true weapon that needs [i]tweaking[/i]

I rocket jump a shitton so I actually find them quite useful.
To the point that I'm so used to the decreased rocket jump damage that when the steam server fuck up and I can't use my loadout, soldier is literally unplayable for me. :saddowns:

If you're roaming on maps that have a huge height advantage it's perfect. Your shotgun is useful but if you can hit most of your rockets gunboats are priceless.
