Today, while I was playing Gmod (and then TF2, so I suppose it's a problem with Source games), my game basically froze, I mean, it didn't stop running, Steam still showed what my friends were playing, but I couldn't use any command, not even ctrl+alt+del. My mouse and keyboard completely stopped working, so I had to restart my PC.
I tried playing TF2 but it also froze. I'm a complete retard if it's anything involving PC problems, but does it matter if my disk space is too low? Because my Gmod, after me putting 'some' addons into it, has now 10 GBs. Also, I accidentally *cough* pressed the Fraps record button while idling on TF2, which made my disk space go down from 40 GBs to 10 MBs.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the problem is with Source games, and not with my PC. But what could I do to solve it, or at least know what it is?

As I said I am a noob with PCs so I don't know what information is needed.
That happens to me sometimes, first freezes for 5 seconds or 3 and the permanently freezes.
So, does anyone know anything about this? I still can't play any Source games.
Something like this happens to me, especially during L4D and 2, but sometimes TF2 as well.
I just get a quick little "Oh, not working" on the mouse. I'm still running (Though I have yet to see if it's just sticking the key down).
By the time I realized it happened, it's already over.
Freakin' annoying.
