Introducing Haste! At the turn in point for the contest it'd had 45 hours work on it, it's now at 52 hours work and ready for wider circulation. Bear in mind this only had two short tests with players before it had to be turned in for the contest so the layout isn't perfect. So if you have feedback on that, I'd love to hear it! I was really hoping that the train moved + killed you, but I'm no map maker so I don't know how hard this would be.

Valve are the ones looking around the community looking for these maps and once they find one that looks "Valve quality" they play a few rounds to see if it's worthy of being packed into the game.
My mistake, I thought I remembered seeing that you could at least link it to valve.

Haste makes Waste... or is that Icarus makes Waste? I still can't remember
TF2 kind of makes me want to map just because I love the industrialized styles.
I got into mapping about a year ago and my computer got borked and I haven't mapped since, though everytime I see a map, it makes me want to map more and more.

Hey, great map, but there's a problem with one of your doors. [thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/578927726931041449/A6BD5C9E8C208EC774B9FEBD25C56844064C5596/[/thumb] I noticed this on Hoodoo stage 2's side passage around the first checkpoint as well. Basically when too many people are at your door the thing just locks unless every player steps away from the door. This doesn't happen on other maps, so I'm just pointing it out here. In real games eventually players get wise and walk away from the door but since the bots aren't smart the whole map comes to a crawl.
Cheers for pointing that out, I'll take a look at it, that door is tricky because it's opened and closed by both players and the cart, greater chance of it breaking.
If you get hired by Valve, does that mean you'll stop visiting us? D:
