Hey you's!
Self explanatory thread title. Which one of the nine unique classes of Team Fortress 2 is your favorite one to play? Also, why?
Mine has to be [B][U]The Demoman[/U][/B]!
The whole concept of the character is fucking bad-ass. One eyed black Scottish man with A Grenade launcher to blow enemies off your way, a Shield and a Sword.
What is more fun than slicing heads off and blowing up people, literally! (Literally, as in, they really do blow up. Shattered limbs and blood everywhere, it's awesome!!)
Plus the fact that if you've got up to 4 heads, you are [B]more faster and stronger![/B]
It makes you wanna actually survive through long kill-streaks! It's even more awesome!!

Also, I think my highest kill-streak is 22 (Give or take), including 9 Head splits!
Engineer all the way, man. He's cool, laid back, and he does his work like a professional rather than a lunatic. Diligent and supportive to the team, he toils away on his works of mechanical art like a busy bee.
The poor fella's gotten the short end of the stick in today's TF2 with his lack of an update, but in the end his update will be the best of the nine, being the last. I can't wait.
Pyro. There is nothing better than seeing your enemy slowly burning to death, unable to stop it.
Scout, I like being able to move fast.

Pretty much this, after I go on a scout kill spree it feels weird to be slow and without your double jump, which makes it really easy to dodge.
I also like sniper though, ever since I started getting better at him it's just been so much fun to go out in the open and snipe people from close range, and his personality is so damn awesome, he sounds like he's crazy when he dominates someone.
Pyro. It's hilarious to see how frustrated people get when you CP their ubers and knock them off a cliff.
Scout. I love his domination lines.
Battle Engineer.
Spy, I love sneaking behind them and taking them from the rear. I like backstabs too.
Tough choice. Playstyle-wise, I like the Soldier and Scout most. Nothing like a good explosive assault or speedy capture.
Personality wise, the Scout is definitely my favorite class. That accent is undeniably the best for talking trash.
Medic, primarily. I've always been good at playing the healer in just about every game I've played. After I got used to the medi-gun, TF2 was no different.
I also like to play Huntsman Sniper and Pyro, but Medic's probably my favorite.

Actually, that's an awesome concept, but it's stupid. [b]Demo[/b]man stands for [b]Demo[/b]lition, and unless you have seen anyone demolishing something with a sword, it makes no sense.

Anyway, my favorite class is the Spy. Rather than shooting around with powerful weapons, he chooses to go with 'simple' ones such as a knife. He's the opposite of the Heavy, instead of brutal, he's more like sophisticated, which is simply badass.

Only the mentally deficient play as pyro, or even like him. I like the scout most, btw.

I prefer Soldier boy, since he's kinda of a middle-of-the-road, bread-an'-butter class. Some would call him the Othello/Reversi of the roster; a minute to learn, a lifetime to master. He has a satisfying explosive weapon, and with the latest updates, he can prove a decisive support unit (MC Bugle in the house), and can also become like Death himself with the Equaliser.

Right. I'm playing this game purely for entertainment. Grenade Launcher is enough Demolishing for me, really. And jesus, I know what Demo stands for. Besides, all the weapons and such only brings up uniqueness among all the players. I like it Blow shit up and slice heads off, unoriginal isn't it? :v:
And I think idea behind Sword and Board is that he's some sorta Scottish warrior back in the days. Anyway, don't call Demoman stupid, it's brilliant!

Spy is slick, frenchy, and has a fedora.

I also like Engie and Medic, because I like helping others.
Personally, I like the Pyro. Main;y because I grew around Spychecking, and eventually expanded into a better Pyro. No M1+W.
However, I am the most proficient with the Solder or Medic.

This pretty much explains everything else you just said.
Anyway, I'm a good medic; always sure to jump around, looking out for my teammates, making sure they're all overhealed.
Sometimes I get a bit risky charging in with the blutsauger or ubersaw (To get a spy, for example), but apart from that I generally try to stay back and let my teammates do the work.
Oh, and I use the original medgun. none of that kritskrieg nonsense.

I love the scout.
Snipers are the best, not noob snipers but if you can snipe well you can make some good kills (let the hateing begin)
Pyro is the most fun class to play. Even though he is shit he can just get so many rewarding kills, long range flare snipes, flare minicrits, axtinguishers, reflects etc. My second favourite would be the scout, but only because he is fast.

Demoman. He's black, Scottish, and a cyclops. Enough to win me over!
The Soldier. He has no counter-classes. Its an incredible powerhouse. Slow and strong, yet with a medic he can even beat a scout in speed, using the rockets jumps.
Rocket jumping is a incredibly useful and fun skill, capable of soaring above your enemys and raining destruction upon them. Juggling and airshooting enemys is fantastic.
The Soldier hates everything and says it every chance he gets, screaming at enemys for being long hair hippies or communist. I love his personality and sentences.

Medic.
Being a good Medic is harder than it seems, even with his mobility and health regeneration. Seeing as you are the single top priority, and each updates brings new ways for you to die, and more things to pay attention to. For instance, the new Direct Hit, if you're not careful, can kill you in 1 hit in many circumstances, and you need to be in the field. However, being able to pull an Ubercharge and make the push that wins the game is immensely satisfying. Often times, the Medic is the main reason why a team wins a game. That type of responsibility is fun to have and is incredibly rewarding. High moments are when people complement you, from people saying "This guy is a good Medic!" or the occasional "Thanks!" is a high point in and of itself.
(Fun fact: in my play time, I've found that the class that says "Thanks!" the most is Spy. Scouts who know to slow down enough to get healed are second.)
My favorite combat class, however, is Pyro. He just fits my play style the most. Run in, cause mass chaos, and run out before the enemy catches on. Fun stuff.

Huh. I never actually thought about it, but you're right. There've only been a very small amount of Spies that I've healed that haven't thanked me, and the few Scouts that stop so you can lock on are smart enough to thank me every time I can get them.
