So the steam network went down for some maintence stuff like we always see and this happened to my friend. This is a screenshot about 3 minutes before he got spammed with more of those halloween hats. He got around 8 or 10 of them by the time steam came back online.

It was on my server and I haven't got any of those fake message plugins. I don't know if it was server side, client side or Valve side glitch, No idea really, so see if it happens to you - 94.23.158.232:27017 is the IP.

I didn't get any hats, but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed playing on your server. There is a clientside way to fake finding items, so Kinichie probably did that.

Yeah, I love the skin thats why I have it :3 Though I wish the eye was was working. Missing texture -_-
When the steam servers are down for maintenance the item servers are still up. However, your community profile isn't making it possible to receive the items. Your item drops will still pile up, but you won't receive them until the steam community is back up. During that recent maintenance downtime, I kept receiving the Scottish Resistance every time I died. Eventually I began to receive a Scottish Resistance and a Sandman. It's a little annoying getting the screen every time you die and during some matches the chatlogs were spammed with everyone constantly receiving their items. When the maintenance stopped, we finally were able to receive our items, in where we only received ONE of the drops, not a wonderful cascade of artillery.
