So I've been running out of ways to improve my server lately, there seems to be a debate going on between the pubbers and the comp players about what should be what and it's been hard to find a good middle ground to please both sides. I am trying to make my server's target audience people with the same intelligence/maturity/skill levels as most of the users in this section (in before the obvious joke about no one on FP being mature) so I am asking you guys for help.
What do you enjoy most in a server? This can relate to anything like maps,plugins,admins and stuff like that. If I feel pleased with the results I'd be happy to post my server IP here for you guys to come check it out.

My server isn't a Randomizer server so I won't be running that
to Housemaster. (why the hell do you have a period in your name?)
We are running as close to full vanilla as we can (ie default respawn times, 24 slot, stock maps or good customs). Great to see some appreciation for vanilla TF2

Unfortunately that plugin was broken with the new SourceMod update and it causes a crap ton of conflicts with some of the other's I'm running.

You should be siding with the public players if this is a public server. If it's a private server, this issue makes no sense. Competitive players have their own little 6v6 servers to play, public players are stuck server hopping until they find one that doesn't suck.
Stock, similar to SourceOP just without HLstats and admins that... well, actually exist, is good.
Randomizer is pretty fun, too, just don't add RTD, presents or First Blood with Randomizer. We had it on our server and I raged every time I played because somebody would inevitably get some crazy OP setup with god mode, crits, toxic or instant kills.
SV_Pure 0.
Just make sure to have your server's name reflect the addons. I'm sick of finding a server that looks okay until I join, only to be bombarded with quake sounds, HLstats, and a billion other shit mods.

Understandable, but I believe a middle ground exists where both sides can at least enjoy playing there. Most of the comp players have been using TF2Lobby lately so their server presence has been minimal.

I enjoy good teams, when people talks english on there mic and not some other shit (Yes i know that i can mute them and i do it), no "premium" shit, fast repawn, Not 15 sec respawn time. Just normal gameplay i guess. But i like some servers with plugins.

for those who don't know, you push a payload cart into a huge underground complex to blow up a huge rocket.
uses capture points as a unique way to push the cart on some sections.

All right I'll post it up, before I do I will admit there are some files you are going to download before you join so to clear any confusion I will explain what they are (if you don't want to make sure your download files is off by going options>multiplayer>advanced).
There is 1 one small sound file (just a quick 4 second tune that plays when you join).
There are around 20 texture+model files which are some of the hats from the Mod Emporium which I decompiled and recompiled for server use. All of these hats can be worn by typing !em in chat and going to slot 3.
